In Isfahan, worshippers gather on Chahar Bagh e Abbasi Street each day during Ramadan to recite the Holy Quran.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is the month when the first verses of the Holy Quran were revealed to Islam’s Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
During Ramadan, Muslims abstain from eating and drinking from dawn to sunset.
Worshippers also go to mosques and holy sites to recite the Holy Quran and make supplications to Allah during the holy month.
